This event will not be taking place immediately.
This year, for the first time, the ACM student chapter of the Heritage Institute of Technology is organizing a student paper contest in conjunction with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata.
The contest is open to all full time students. Participants will be required to submit documents showing that they are registered as full-time students at their respective institutes.
Deadline for submitting papers: 22 March 2012
Author Notification: 3 April, 2012
Submission of camera-ready paper:7 April, 2012
Registration Due: 10 April, 2012
Final Day of presentation: 24 April 2012
Papers may be co-authored by the advisor(s)/ guide(s) of the student. The review process will be double-blind, i.e. the reviewers will not know the name or affiliation of the authors and vice-versa.

The registration fee is as follows:
200 INR: Paper submitted by student authors only
500 INR: Paper submitted by coauthors including a faculty member

Please ensure that the submitted document is in one of the following formats: .doc, .txt or .pdf. Submissions in any other format will not be accepted. Each submitted paper should include an abstract of upto 200 words. It should also adhere to the double-blind review policy and should not be longer than 12 single-spaced pages with 10pt font size.
Six papers will be selected for the final presentation at the Heritage Institute of Technology. Eminent Professors from renowned academic institutions will be present to review the presentations and choose three final winners of the contest.
